Capitol Hill Community Services
Soup Kitchen Luncheons

What it is:
• A hot meal program for the hungry served at Trinity on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays

How you can help:
• Volunteer from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays to set up, serve, and clean up

The Trinity Connection:
In July 2003, Trinity UMC invited Capitol Hill Community Services to offer hot lunches in Fellowship Hall. This service provides downtown people in need with nutritious, hot lunches. Serving on average 185 lunches on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this program uses volunteers from area schools as well as Trinity to set up, serve and clean up. If you would like to help in this program volunteers are needed from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the days of the month assigned to Trinity UMC.
