2017 Fall Women's Retreat: "The River of Life"

All rivers do not run straight. Like us, they have detours, overflow, dry up, go underground and sometimes divide into two and go in separate directions. What do we do when the fluidness of our lives is interrupted, changed or redirected by unforeseen circumstances? Where do we go to get shored up, to get cleaned up to eliminate the pollution, to not run and hide, or to find support to firmly stay on our intended journey? What happens to our faith?

Together in a beautiful setting, with delicious food and delightfully fun fellowship, women attending this retreat will be enlightened and spiritually led by our own Dr. Donna Dempewolf. Donna, as she likes to be called, has recently joined Trinity's staff as our Executive Pastor. She brings with her many years of pastoral leadership as well as several years of experience in the corporate business world.

Donna will show us how our lives run like a river, applying scripture to its many changes in direction, flow, strength and weakness.

You will experience:

  • A break from your regular schedule
  • Drawing closer to God
  • Fellowship with other women
  • Time to relax
  • Exploring our faith
  • Meditation and prayer
  • Pilgrimage to the labyrinth
  • Time to play in a beautiful setting with many options

Registration is $175 per person, which includes lodging (double occupancy), five meals, all materials and most activities. Registration closes on September 24.
