Children and the Sacrament of Holy Communion
The Children's Sunday School classes have been studying the Sacrament of Holy Communion. They have visited the Sanctuary and practiced kneeling at the communion rail and praying. They have also tasted a variety of breads and grape juice, and older children made Matzah bread.
Sunday School children will be returning to worship to receive communion on days that Trinity serves during worship. The children are taught why they are there, what to expect, how to behave and to be respectful when receiving the Sacrament. Parents are invited to join their own children at the communion rail during this time.
Please let Sunday School teachers or Allison Watkins know if you prefer your child not receive communion. Children will be partaking of communion on World Communion Sunday, October 1; All Saints Day, October 29; First Sunday of Advent, December 3; Epiphany, January 7; First Sunday of Lent, February 18; and Pentecost, May 20.
Trinity's nursery is located in Yellow Room on Level 2.
The nursery will be available for all babies and toddlers from 8 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. each Sunday. Our nursery is maintained by a qualified, background-checked, caring staff that is trained in CPR.
