What it is:
Early Response Teams (ERTs) fill a specific need in the early days after a disaster to clean out flood-damaged homes, remove debris, place tarps on homes, and otherwise help prevent further damage while providing a caring Christian presence. ERTs are not a first-response group of emergency workers, nor are they recovery, rebuild or repair teams.
How you can help:
- Attend an Early Response Team training
- Pray for the volunteers and survivors
The Trinity Connection:
Thousands of our neighbors have been significantly impacted by natural disasters here in Colorado and need help in getting their lives back to a "new normal."
Key to helping these individuals and families who survived floods and other natural disasters are volunteers who are willing to step up and make a difference. Rebuilding roads, homes and businesses is important, but there is also a need for volunteers to help survivors rebuild their lives. You can live your faith by helping in this time of need.
