CHANGE IN PARKING LOT PROCEDURES - Effective January 8, 2017
March Code = 1351
Emily Griffith Foundation, which owns the parking lots to the east and north of the Trinity Sanctuary building, has implemented a new parking management arrangement for those lots. Under this arrangement, people parking on Sundays, between 6 a.m. – 2 p.m., in the east and north lots will be required to use a unique parking code to obtain a parking receipt. Parking remains free - you will not be required to pay for parking - but you simply must use the designated code to obtain a receipt to display on your dashboard. This new requirement does not apply to the garage at 19th & Lincoln - use of the parking code is not required when parking in the garage.
When parking in the east and north lots, walk to the kiosk near the entrance, follow the instructions and the parking code (above), take the receipt and place it on the dashboard of your car. Again, you need not pay, but simply use the parking code to obtain the receipt from the kiosk. Displaying the receipt on your dashboard is the only way to avoid being ticketed.
The current code(s) are listed above. You can pick up a parking information card with these instructions in the back of the Sanctuary or at the church office or download one here. We recommend that you keep this information in your car or saved in your smartphone. The code will be changed monthly, so please check regularly to make sure you have the current code.
We understand that Emily Griffith Foundation will grant Trinity a short grace period - until March 1 - before the parking lot management company begins issuing tickets to cars parked without a proper receipt. If you receive a ticket on a Sunday (6 a.m. – 2 p.m.) while attending activities at the church during the grace period, please bring it to the church office for handling.
The church plans to put up signage at the lots to inform visitors and remind members of the new parking procedures.
We sincerely thank everyone for their understanding, cooperation and assistance in making this transition as smooth as possible.
