Trinity Second Century Foundation Grants
Since 1984, the Mission of the Trinity Second Century Foundation has been to minister to needy people by providing financial assistance to outreach ministries in downtown Denver and the Denver Metropolitan area. In 2020 we awarded over $55,000 in grants to Denver area nonprofits.
This year our focus is on organizations and programs addressing the critical community needs, exacerbated by the pandemic, of:
• housing and homelessness
• mental health
• food security
Applications for grants should be sent electronically to Board President Gary Moore (firstname.lastname@example.org) as well as to Board Member Delta Emerson (email@example.com ). Please use the subject line "Trinity Second Century Grant Application"
We review grants that use the Colorado Common Grant Application (information and forms available at crcamerica.org, under Resources).
This year, we will award grants in the range of $5000 to $7500 per grant to successful applicants. Our review process focuses on the effectiveness of your organization in addressing the needs listed above; financial and leadership stability. We particularly are interested in grant applications for specific projects which might not be completed without our grant, and how your organization has reacted in this pandemic to meet community needs.
We will review grants that arrive no later than March 15, 2021. Decisions will be made at the end of April; checks for grants awarded will be delivered by the end of May. We will also notify applicants whose application is not funded this year. As you can, please let us know if you plan to submit a grant application.
